Wayne brings to the podium 38 years of public school teaching of instrumental music. His performing groups consistently received the top marks in Wisconsin School Music Association contests and festivals. He has been active with the Fort Atkinson Community Band for 58 years serving as musician on trumpet, horn and baritone horn, assistant director, Board of Directors, president and musical director of the band the past 28 years.

Wayne is active as a master Wisconsin School Music Association adjudicator and serves as a field representative. Other musical interests include performing in the Madison Wisconsin Brass Band.
